I sat down with Soundarya Balasubramani (aka Pooja), who is an author, ex-product manager from Salesforce, and Columbia University graduate. In this video, she talks about the various paths you can take to build a company on your visa: whether that is an F1, OPT, or H1B. Do you want to become an entrepreneur soon? Watch this to learn more.

I use WeBull for stock trading which is legal in US.

This was spot on. Like i found a life saving drug that no store in the country had in a neighbourhood shop. Becuase someone of their own suffered the pain. Thanks good souls

I personally think that this is going to be a big thing for all immigrants/students etc who see themselves as entrepreneurs or want to startup a company. Right now most of the institutions are focused on keeping students blindfolded to get into the rat race from F1 visa to H1B and then GC but 90% do not even know the law of an individual as an immigrant. I really appreciate all the efforts which are being made on/off the screen. This has to be viral and especially skilled people should know what all they can do as an individual immigrant.

If we can't make money on stem opt and H1b aside from our main job, then how are youtube channels of international students earning money on their own?

How are you able to create content, isn't it self employment?
And self employment is prohibited on h1b visa.

Right now, I'm 16 from India looking to move to USA in 2024. I earn around $3k - $4k/month scaling it to $10k/months within a couple months.

Right now, I work on a prodigy account which basically means all the accounts are setup in the name of my parents. Do you think it would be completely valid if I keep on doing while being in USA. They earn the money through me and then transfer it to me.

Also, can I just start earning in the first year legally instead of waiting for the college to end? If yes, what's the way? I probably have to talk to a lawyer but any suggestion would be helpful.

Is it possible or difficult for Indian women who come to the USA after marriage to start their own business?

@Harnoor @Pooja can you guys recommend me any immigration lawyer that could help with my startup. I am on F1 visa and need some guidance.

I firmly believe there is no better place than India right now to build a startup. If something works in India it could well easily be scaled for the world but the vice versa is not necessarily true.
