I had the opportunity to be promoted just recently in fact. I had the experience in the department, did the internship last year and twice the opportunity came up. However, after the internship I had no desire to be salaried and after last and this year I know I make more than the promotion. My ideas and work are still respected. I train and hepp others where I can. Less stress more money and same respect!!!

I 100% get what he means. I think people over romanticize being an entrepreneur or business owner like it’s the perfect or best job in the world. I used to think it was, till I realised the amount of work and responsibility it is. It’s defo not for everyone. I enjoy working until 4pm, then shutting off and going home. Many entrepreneurs work all day round. It’s your business, it don’t shut down and it’s a lot of Which I now know I just don’t want. I have a 9-5 (well, a 8-4) and a small side hustle and I’ve never been happier. I literally felt like I was overran and on my knees constantly when I had my own business 🤷🏽‍♀️

Dude, I'd love to get involved enough with anything to be a number 2. I'd be happy to be a number 30, if I could make decisions that mattered and still get a portion of the equity.
