Revel Surf is not just any surf park—it’s the first in the world to feature both a traveling wave and a stationary rapid surf wave, offering an exhilarating experience for surf enthusiasts of all skill levels. But that’s not all! This park is the crown jewel of the 37-acre Cannon Beach mixed-use development, which promises to be a new hotspot for locals and tourists alike.

Alongside the surf park’s thrilling features—like the beach with sand imported from Florida, a multi-story cliff diving platform, and a resort-style restaurant and bar—Cannon Beach will also host a wide array of stores and eateries such as Moku Hawaiian Grill, La Taqueria Factory, Russo’s Italian Kitchen, JL Hot Pot Korean BBQ and more.

In addition to dining and shopping, the development will also feature a full gym, athlete training areas, and eventually two hotels. With over 100 job applicants already on board, the surf park is still hiring for a few positions, including cooks and dishwashers.

While Revel Surf will be the first surf park in Arizona, competition is already on the horizon, with other projects like PHX Surf Park in Maricopa and Cactus Surf in Gilbert on the way. But Mesa Councilman Scott Somers sees Cannon Beach as a unique and vital addition to the city, expected to attract visitors and boost local tourism.
