The simple things in life are the best and most important. Food, warmth, shelter, looking at the sky, listening to the wind, feeling the rain on your face, being at one with nature.

Picturesque snowfall, the sound of rushing water, and a sparkling campfire, nature at its finest, I love this video.

word of caution..using water soaked rocks for a firepit is dangerous..the rocks soak the water deep inside of the rock that may have been in the water for hundreds of years can explode because superheated steam will build high pressure inside the rocks core. This will cause the rock to explode like a grenade and scattering your fire 3 or 4 meters while sending rock fragment with such force it could kill your or hurt anyone near the firepit..I see it happen once, luckily we wasn't injured but it sure got our adrenaline going and made a note to never use wet rocks around a campfire!

❤You are like my father. I was out with my father to the Frozen Sea for camping in Norway. I would like to bring all memories back ever since my childhood, this is kind of my lifestyle being cozy and simple, I love being in PEACE with the NATURE SO MUCH! YOU ARE MY HERO!

Okay guys, get some decent size rocks. Then dig a shallow pit where you intend to have a fire. Ring the pit with the stones. Then light a fire with a wooden floor and dried bows.

Do you ever go back to revisit shelters you've made in the past to see how they're holding up? I'd be interested in seeing that.

Wow! That wind is something else!! Have you ever heard of a kabob? It's the same as you do when you're cooking your meat like in this video; but in smaller pieces. It cooks in a lot less time. Just a thought. Excellent video!!

Excellent video and another great shelter. I like how you kayak in the middle of winter. My cousin and I built wood and canvas kayaks in the early 60s. Spent a lot of time kayaking on the Wisconsin River, state of Wisconsin, USA, and camping on sandbars, with our minimal gear stuffed into our kayaks like you do. Thanks for the video and adventure!😊

Bastante corajoso pra curtir o lugar nesse tempo gelado. Valeu pela paisagem belíssima.
