this are just two examples from a lot of fucking bad lyrics.
i dont know what Matisyahu think about this but i won't ignore that.

This song is great..but one can't just sit like a stone and sing it..Matisyahu, im sure your body can speak!!

nice song and i agree that u dont have to belive in god to like his music, but i am a litle bit shoked that he says he is insparated from "Sizzla". i dont really know if he means that he has listen it at the first time, or if he means he is insperated from sizzlas music.

@suprakicksbby Music is interpretive, hence my secular statement. An atheist person could sing of world peace just as well as any theist. Matisyahu may be a religious guy, but his lyrics appeal to everyone, even atheists and agnostics.

The song isn't jewish tard. Matisyahu is Jewish the music just has a hopeful message for the future. Even though he has religious inspired lyrics, they are at their heart secular. You don't even have to believe in God to like his music.

I herd him sing before I herd him talk and when he talks it is a totaly different person to me. one is a religios singer who makes awsome songs to lift the mood and the other is just like a fun guy to be around

I met Matisyahu on the way back to my car after the 12/30 Miami Phish show. It felt good to be able to tell him how much his music has helped me through some low points. Seems like a genuinely good person.
