Fun thing to consider, oda loves buggy's fruit more then all others. And there is one thing that doesn't make any sense about it, being able to not get cut, or to be sliced. Does not make it possible to then move all your lims separately and to hover around them at a strain distance.
What if more fruits are misunderstood like luffy's fruit, not on purpose but because little is know about them for most people. And what if buggy his fruit is more of a telekinetic power, that allows him to move stuf. But as a paramicia it only works on his body, and once awakened he can use it on every thing. And that the fact that he doesn't just float is because he believes that his feet need to be grounded(including via someone else holding them) for the power to work.

When Shandoras Party was Luffys Nika foreshadowing, we can be sure that the moon people theory the lunarians is true and the D means a half moon, it mesns luffy is half Lunarian and is therefore able to use fire.
