I see many people in the comment commenting that this congressman is not honest or incapable, he is a technical guy with master qualification on AI from UCLA, so if you watch the interview session, he really ask some important technical question which regarding data protection, where the data is stored, how the data is migrating, how is the source code like, who review the source code. It is similar to banks, I was an auditor for banking client from big 4 firm, banks have safety procedures in the case of if the first storage point is gone, there is a backup storage point located far from the main storage point. So rather than evasive, I think the CEO need to be more technical and aware on how the system is running in his Company rather than relying on even third party American personnel. We know that all people have intentions and you cant expect them to be all ethical, so hopefully we get a formal written reply on the question he asked.
