U.S. Government Unveils $537m New Consulate Building Project

the United States government has unveiled plans for its new consulate compound in Lagos state which will be situated in the Eko Atlantic city.
The building will cost about 537 million dollars to complete.

America has noticed the bold and ambitious initiatives of Nigeria and Nigerians. The Lekki Free Trade Zone, Eko Atlantic and the likes. They are looking beyond our present problems and positioning themselves to be an economic partner in the future. It is also a way to reassert their former position as Nigeria's biggest trading partner.

The Nigerian government clearly exhibit it level of incompetency in international affairs like this. America wanting to build her largest consulate in Nigeria should be enough to worry because as an international relations student it is widely know for a fact that any country that experience the increase presence of America slowly result to war, terror, instability and insurgency. Countries like Yemen, Jordan, somalia, Libya, Egypt, Iraq, Colombia, Chile, and so on. The common factor that bind all these countries is the ( presence of America). The latest being Haiti and in Africa. So, America building it biggest consulate in Nigeria will definitely leads to more terror in Nigeria.

Read about the (Operation Enduring Freedom – Horn of Africa) which is a component of Operation Enduring Freedom. The Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa is the primary military component assigned to accomplish the objectives of the mission. it started 20yrs back in 2002 and still growing.
