Does it adhere to the new laws for making the property proofed against earthquakes ? I would hazard a guess that it isn't.

I'd buy it if it's all up to date with the earthquake laws

I would like to own a house or 2 in Japan, but being a tourist I won't be able to stay long term.

Can make 10% from a stock dividend with 0 hassle or maintenance.

Built in 1955? Unless the plumbing, roof, HVAC, and earthquake retrofitting has all been updated, NO THANK YOU. lol I don't need an absurdly expensive repair right after I invest $45K.

Military families do NOT maintain their rentals because they're often constantly moving every year (or less, sometimes) or so.
