A holiday-themed Science on Screen intro to Joe Dante's GREMLINS, presented with University of Nebraska Medical Center. Can water or sunlight really cause animals to mutate, spawn, or melt? How do time zones and daylight-saving time affect mogwai? This and so much more will be discussed at this fun holiday event.

Science on Screen is an initiative of the Coolidge Corner Theater, in partnership with the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. Through this initiative we get to bring you Creative pairings of current, classic, cult, and documentary films with engaging introductions by notable local figures from the world of science, technology, and medicine.
ABOUT FILM STREAMS
Film Streams is a nonprofit arts organization dedicated to enhancing the cultural environment of the Omaha-Council Bluffs area through the presentation and discussion of film as an art form. Our organization oversees two beautiful cinemas: the Ruth Sokolof Theater, in North Downtown Omaha, and the historic Dundee Theater, Omaha’s longest surviving neighborhood cinema.
