What is Anterior, Posterior, Breech and Transverse lie

We always hear words like Anterior, Posterior, Breech and Transverse lie from our doctors while we present to them in pregnancy. What exactly these words mean? Well, you are lucky enough because in Today’s video we will explain all the possible positions in which a baby lies in the mother’s womb while she is pregnant. In first few weeks of pregnancy the position of the baby has the least importance and the baby can move freely in amniotic fluid but as the size of the baby increases specially in last trimester, the moments are restricted and the importance of the final position of the baby before delivery becomes really important. 12 years ago I was pregnant with my twins. I was told if baby A was breech or smaller than baby B I would have to have a c-section. Well baby A was smaller than baby B and breech.
