Guy here with very sensitive eyes. There are two I have found (after MUCH trial and error) that work the best for me (and no need for me to run out and buy makeup haha): La Roche Posay UVMune 400 - this is a heavy hitter, water proof, minimal shine, very easy on my eyes. 2) Beauty of Joseon - If you don’t buy any other daily sunscreen (not for pool or beach as this is not sweat/water-proof) order this immediately. I cake this DIRECTLY ON MY EYE LIDS and experience zero burning/watering throughout the day. It’s also cheap and looks/feels amazing on my skin. A+++

Thought I was the only one experiencing this burning sensation on the eyes. Thanks for the tip!

be super careful with loose powder if you’re a contact lens wearer, the powder could irritate your eyes. 🤗
my eyes got really irritated because i was being too liberal and it got in my eyes repeatedly, (and i thought it’d be fine, that my eyes can just blink it out) and i wouldn’t want that irritation for anyone else❤

I’m so glad you said that mineral can burn as well because depending on my skins mood everything burns it, I thought it was just my overly temperamental skin 😂 I was always told mineral sunscreen doesn’t burn such lies.

I personally put my sunscreen and then dust with powder around my eyes over top. It keeps my eyes from stinging. I found if I apply powder first and then apply sunscreen, the powder gets all clumpy on the skin.

Instead of setting powder, I actual use a SPF powder around my eyes after applying my liquid SPF to my whole face and neck. I do this method mainly with American SPFs that all burn my eyes. Korean and Japanese don’t burn my eyes, so I stick to those now, ie. BOJ.

Picked up the Beauty of Joseon sunscreen on your recommendation for avoiding stinging eyes, and it works like a dream! I even applied it to my eyelids and undereyes with no finishing powder and was blown away!

Thanks! Almost every sunscreen burns my eyes. So far only B-lab Matcha and Round lab's Mild sunscreen are not as irritiating around my eyes. I use SPF cushion for around the eyes- the only thing that works for me. I'll try the loose powder as I have a jar lying around.

Yes I tried it and it works. I put it all over my eyelids but not on the under eyes. It still worked though.

Cetaphil Sheer 100% Mineral Face Liquid Sunscreen does not burn my eyes. My eyes are pretty sensitive too. So I make sure to apply that one around my eyes and use other sunscreens I still have opened for the rest of my face. I recommend doing this if you don't want to waste or throw away the eye stinging ones.
