From what I can tell, this show is a first and a last:


-First public appearance with the Roland RD-1000, which he'd go on to use on tour until 1993 and then continue to use the MKS-20 (sound module version) as his primary sound source with his MIDI enabled Yamaha Grands for the rest of his touring career
-The last time he played publicly with the "classic" band lineup of Nigel Ollson, Dee Murray and Davey Johnstone. (Can't remember if Ray Cooper was there too, I think he was, but Youtube has blocked the performance of "saturday night's alright for fighting" so I can't see).

Jan 2021 and i have to say this is still wonderful wonderful wonderful, the best version by far, it certainly captured the emotion of its time. 🙏❤🙏❤🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
