Nas Icaria Greece
Nas is one of the most spectacular beaches on Ikaria. It is near the village of Armenistis, at a place where a river meets the sea. Forest, streams and waterfalls are just behind the beach, and the ruins from a temple dedicated to Artemis are lying on the side. It is a small beach with only a couple of umbrellas, sand mixed with pebbles and clear water. There are some taverns located on a cliff above the beach -- the sunsets are breathtaking!
