Book Review I Divergent by Veronica Roth

I just finished this book as well and just started the second one! I really enjoyed it as well, and I was actually pretty shocked at how much I enjoyed it. I did want to point out something, when you were talking about the Dauntless always just casually getting tattoos, and that probably hurts. I wouldn't know from experience, but I've heard it hurts as well. You said it yourself, their training is basically a bunch of fighting each other. Coughing up blood, brink of death experiences, things like that. A tattoo is probably nothing to them after that.

Hahah you're adorable. And great review. You reminded me of why I loved this book so much! Definitely what got me into YA also. I like that you pointed out how it's comfortable with violence but not sex. I didn't think of that but it's so true. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the rest of the trilogy. :D

I actually didn't like Divergent or the rest of the trilogy. The writing is what bothered me the most. They felt very rushed and not edited well. I also thought Tris became an unbelievable character as the books progressed. HOWEVER, I adore the movie Divergent (though haven't seen Insurgent yet), and I thought your review was hysterical. So, thanks for making me laugh!
