Book Review | Divergent by Veronica Roth.

The factions:
Candor (the honest), Abnegation (the selfless), Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful), and Erudite (the intelligent).

Divergent was AMAZING, insurgent and Allegiant are also amazing but the ending will probably surprise most. I did the 'aptitude' test in the back of the book and my mom scored Erudite, my brother Candor and I scored Dauntless and we were all blown away by how accurate the test was for each of us.

I loved this book! I am reading the second book right now and I think it is really good. I think I would belong in Dauntless or Erudite.

I really enjoyed the book. It took a while to get into it, but once things livened up I really got involved. I think I might choose abnegnation and just sort of live on the outskirts and do my own thing. Abnegnation seems like the best place to hide. But given what Tris' mom said about the divergents and abnegnation it might not be the best idea.

I personally think this book was terrible. Its starts really exciting and promising but as the plot crawled forward the flaws just keep stacking up till I just had to stop reading. I dident agree with her choices nor did I like the side characters. But the biggest problem was the factions. Since when is it considered brave to have a tattoo?! Why are erudite perpetually reading? Why don't the factionless start their own faction? The point im making is that the factions made no sense whatsoever.
Im sorry for venting but this book upset me so much and I wanted it to be good so bad.

I thought the same thing with the factions but you have to reaize that it woud be a totally diffrent choice if you were raised as one faction for as long as you remember. In our world people have the freedom to be smart and kind. You could say most of us are raised as divergents. :)

I think that despite their corruption in the book, I'd like to be Erudite.

I think I would be amity, I feel like there's no attacks and it's the calmest place. I'd say abnegation but I'm not so selfless that I just go over the top with blandness

Abnegation would probably be my choice as I always think of others. But I was also thinking Candor- this is why I'm a Hufflepuff in Hogwarts haha!

I really enjoyed this book, but yeh I agree your point about the villains. If I had to pick a faction I'd say Erudite despite what they do(If you've read it you'll know what I'm talking about)
