Part of the reason Etho's voice sounds so different is because of his internet back then. Remember when he'd only upload like 360 or 480 res videos because it took so long? I remember being excited that he was going to start uploading 720, lol.

Wow, not just is this old footage, but it's crazy how early on in Minecraft it was... excited about stacking chests and the glitchiness of multiplayer... and did you said your 22, 000 subscriber video? The craziest thing about this is just how old Minecraft is. The old sounds are still there, stairs couldn't turn upside down, and logs couldn't even be on their sides yet. Crazy stuff man

Man, it's funny hearing the way you guys talk, about this server, like you have no clue who the people are, and as if it's a completely random server you are just trying out. I'm sure that's the way it was at the time, but in my memory, it's a big famous server filled with lots of personalities that I know well having watched for years. Kind of surreal.

This may sound very weird, but honestly, when I saw the original spawn village at 11:00 I started to get tears in my eyes. Since I first found Mindcrack back in 2011, I used to get home from school and spend hours watching all of the member’s uploads. Then I’d hop on the server with my friends and play until I had to go to bed. Seeing this server and hearing Etho’s voice has just reignited so many old memories and feelings, it’s taken me right back. I now go to work from 7 till 7 every day and my life is filled with so much stuff, sitting down and playing Minecraft just doesn’t have a place in my schedule. Thank you for this, I know Mindcrack will never be the same, and the servers I used to play on are long, long gone - but videos like this are absolute gems to any of the kids that grew up on Minecraft, like me.

Those were the days when food really was harder to find, and finding sheep was like winning the lottery, every old game of minecraft there was always like two - three nights where you just dug a hole and waited through the night. Don't get me wrong though, I'm glad they have sheep and pigs and chickens and cows everywhere now, it just makes it so much easier.

This is actually quite special. Obviously it's not the most engaging of content you've ever made, but it's special and emotional to think of the fun future that is yet to come and it's a little bittersweet to see how much things have changed.
