If anything, I bet the ghee vatti would add a nice aroma to the batter. It’s like how people use charcoal dipped in ghee wrapped in aluminum foil to make it smell like “tandoori”. Fantastic.

However, I wonder how it aids the fermentation, IF it is supposed to aid it. Can you please tell? (However I love the idea of the aroma of ghee.)
