Israel allegedly 'carried out an airstrike using a barrage of missiles from the direction of Beirut'

Israel reportedly launched airstrikes that targeted the Damascus area early on Monday morning, Syria's state TV said, adding that some damage occurred during the incident.

Projectiles were reportedly fired from the direction of Lebanon, according to a source from Syria's military, who said Israel "carried out an air strike using a barrage of missiles from the direction of Beirut towards a number of targets in the Damascus area," Ynet reported.
