Ok but this was such a great concept? It’s the breadth for me. My favorite read of the year hands down was My Dark Vanessa— that novel shifted gravity. Honorable mentions to The Seven Moons of Maali Almeida and The Portrait of Mr. W.H. 🙌🏼

Our reading taste this year had zero overlap aside from the non-fiction books but I still watched every single video of Leonie because I really enjoy the vibes and her insights into what she reads! here's to a great 2024!

So excited to hear that you loved Chiang's writing! If you enjoyed Stories of Your Life and Others, you must read his second short story collection, Exhalation. It may be my favorite book of all time. His writing is truly one of a kind.
