my sp-404sx alwayz been one of my weapons of choice along with my ASR-X and Mpc one....been rocking with the Sp-404sx for years never made to the trash never but dope vid....subscribed now fam

Definitely will work on this all week! I have a MPC Live and SP-404A, but I've been gravitating to my SP more and more, and I'm really trying to learn all I can. Appreciate the tutorials bro!🙏🏾✊🏾

One thing I will say is this I had all sp series from the very first 202 to the 555 and the recent one except the 303 is these are fun machines for basic looping and experimenting with the effects. Chopping and looping.

Hey man, awesome video and very likeable personality! question; on that first technique, did you layer those additional kicks, snares & hats under the original ones or did you rotate on which ones to use, didnt quite catch that. Thank you!

Never heard anyone accuse the 404 of being bad for drums? Is that a thing?

This is the best I've heard drums sound on the SP-404. Just curious if you prefer the sound of a beat chopped up like this than using sample packs (such as Goldbaby for example)?
