With my family being dead and gone now, I don't celebrate Christmas anymore... but I have very fond memories when they were all still alive... There was NOTHING on this earth better than spending time with them... something as simple as getting a hug, or just being smiled at... Love from your family... that's all that really matters in this life... if you're lucky enough to still have your family around.. please.. I implore you... treasure them with every ounce of your being... I'm telling you it's horrible when they're gone...

All I can say, is that it was the Goo Goo Dolls' music that helped inspired me to keep living after a brain aneurysm ruptured 20 years ago, in 2000, when I was 30, and no one thought I should live or thrive. And I'm 50 now, I walked again, I ran again, I went back to college and got a degree afterwards. I credit the Good Lord and the Goo Goo Dolls for my success.

Now this song has given me something to keep living for - not just to keep living for, but to keep smiling - during a painful holiday season in 2020. And I'm looking at John and Robby in this 2020 video and thinking there will never be anybody any sexier to me, EVER: their faces, voices, attitudes, the whole package deal of these guys. I'll take it. Thanks guys, for writing the music that is a godsend to me, to make me want to keep living.

And hey if you're listening: even if Mike doesn't play drums with you guys any more, I would love to see him make a guest appearance in a video someday - just a third mug in the backseat of the car, maybe next Christmas. :)

If you can be anything, be kind. Why so much nastiness in the comments? This music is gorgeous, Johnny's voice is still powerful and full of nuance, and he is older, so what? I am glad he is alive and still bringing so much beauty into the world with the rest of the lads. Be thankful you are here, People, and stop with the snarky nastiness.
