I Switched to Garuda Linux & Here's What Happened...

I've been using OpenSUSE KDE Plasma linux for over a year and it's a great distro. But then I ran across a review by DistroTube for Garuda Linux Dr460nized, and I just had to try it. Not only did I try it, but I dove right in and installed it directly to my desktop, so I am reviewing this distro right from the trenches, and not from a VM. Check out my thoughts about it.

I love this guy, , , he's calm and talks about the problems we may encounter when installing the OS. By the way, 4.6Gigs iso is Windows territory...explains why a lot of people seem to think this distro is slow

I left Windows for Garuda Dr46onized Gaming release 6 month ago, it is the first distro that inspired me to take the step over to Linux.
Still I consider my self a noob and a GUI user but im slowly learning commands and how to use the terminal...
Now im running my pc on four screens without any issues what so ever, customized about everything possible and it looks awesome!!
After detoxing from Windows software I now use only opensource software, that took me some time, it was har letting go of the programs ive learned to master... Today I manage all my needs on my Garuda system, grahpic design, gaming, banking and all officelike tasks.

I can very much recomend you to try Garuda!! I only found it after trying 25+ distros and at that time was scared of leaving Windows,
you will probably find everything youre looking for in Garuda!

downloaded garuda and switched from windows and this has taught me more useful information in 30 minutes then I've seen in other videos, and you actually explain what things do unlike other YouTube, I love it man keep it up

I've been a Kubuntu user for 10 years. I still use it on my "workhorse" desktop PC but 2 months ago, but I installed Garuda Dr46onized on my 10 years old Aldi laptop and it's gorgeous! Had no problems at all with the installation and responsiveness and I installed the full, not the lite, version.
It's great. Just nothing to complain about and now I have the poshest desktop there is, for any operating system.

Very nice review. Distrotube made me also try out this release. I love it. It’s not as snappy as my arcolinux kde but that’s because of all the effects. Have had no issues so far.

The Best review on this new distro that I've watched so far, thank you. I prefer Debian based distros for stability and compatibility issues. Last time I tried an Arch based distro (Manjaro KDE) I couldn't install some programs that I use like Master PDF 5, Packet Tracer or Mailspring. I also had problems with updates and incompatibilities after a week or so and that's basically why I avoid anything related to Arch. However, in this case and because of the experience with Garuda you described in the video I'm tempted to go again and give it another shot. Liked and subscribed!

I just switched to Garuda Dr46onized gaming edition and I gotta say gaming on Linux has never been such an easy process before. Using a GTX 1070 paired with an i7 3770K and I've had zero hiccups.
