I used to chase back in the day, and for the two of you to get to so many spots, with TWO camera angles, is awesome! That's hard work, and a lot of planning and scouting. Thank you for this excellent footage.

I was fortunate enough to be riding the July 27th 1968 trip with my friend John (RIP). We were headed towards LaSalle St station, and we both commented that we were coming in fast. Fan trips are known to be late, but we were basically on time and I think the crew pushed too hard. There is a LOT of track work South of LaSalle St. The train started to shake and I hollered "we're on the ground!", and we were. That's the occasion where the journal lubricator got messed up, around 21st Street.

Great shots! I gotta get on that train someday. I've always wanted to ride on a steam train.

Beautiful footage! Some of the scenes almost look like they could have been filmed back in the early 1950s (though back then, Reading T-1s like 2102 would have more often been used on Korean War troop trains instead of normal passenger service, according to a couple of older gentlemen who have shared some info online).

Awesome! Is there a train tracker to see the track route so I know where to go to film? If so what website or app is it?

So, she has two whistles... Any special reason for that?

Sweet video! For some reason it seems to me that 4-8-4 Northern types always have the best whistles (AT&SF 3751, SP 4449, UP 844, now this).
Though this one seems to have two whistles and one's a little less impressive than the other.
