Teams Meetings - Captions in your preferred language | Multiple-Language Meetings

Teams Meetings allows live translated captions in the language you are most comfortable with. By default, live captions are displayed in the language that’s spoken during the meeting, but you can change the language of the captions. For example, ten people can be in English, four people in Spanish, and three in French. This is a great feature if you are having a multiple-language meeting.

To use live translated captions:
Turn on live captions in your meeting.
Next to the meeting captions, select the More options button and click Subtitles.
Choose the language you want your captions translated to.

If the person that created the meeting has a subscription, but the other person in the meeting does not have a subscription, will they still have access to the auto translation captions?

OK. This missed the most critical feature. How does the "spoken language" option work? Am I able to have participants speaking different languages to each other and relying on translated captions to put every language spoken into their own choice. For example if I am in a meeting with two others, Marie and Anna. Marie is speaking French; Anna is speaking Spanish, and I am speaking English. Will I be able to see Maries French spoken words as English captions and Anna's Spanish spoken words as English captions?

I'm so confused, in some tutorials it says that when you enable real time subtitles, they become visible for everyone in the meeting, other tutorials say that real time subtitles are only visible for me. How does it really work?

Can you turn on the CCs in different languages when the meeting was recorded??
So far, im understanding that unless the function was used during the LIVE Meeting, the captions in different languages cannot be turned on on the recording - is that correct?

Why one need the caption in different language once he has to speak in English?

What happens in the new version of Teams, which changes the language for all the people in the meeting, and the translation is no longer as clear as it was before.

I tried to translate from english to turkish but it was a very bad translation. I guess we just have to wait for it to develop.:(

2023: This feature is now buried behind a "premium" firewall subscription that you are not even allowed to buy unless your company buys it. Use google translate instead.
