Prismatic Evolutions is the next English Pokemon Card set and is expected to release on January 17th, 2025. Chalked full of Special Illustration Rares including the entire Eeveeloution line, Prismatic Evolutions could be the most hyped Pokemon Card set ever released. With demand being so high, Pokemon Card fans are scrambling to try and lock in preorders as close to MSRP as possible. As we inch closer to the Japanese release of Terastal Festival, excitement continues to build.

Unfortunately, store owners are a bit let down as allocation numbers from Pokemon Card Distributors start to pour in. Is Prismatic Evolutions going to have enough supply to meet demand? I undertsand the shining fates deal. But I dont think we can compare a set with only a Charizard as a chase with a full Eeveelution set. Evolving Skies didnt even have all of the Eeveelutions in it. It was missing Flareon, Jolteon, and Vaporeon because they were promos, and the Espeon Vmax. You can still find it in stores and booster packs are STILL almost quadruple MSRP. They printed Evolving Skies a TON! Prismatic Evolutions has all of them, along with this demand boom we are having, on top of just not the I am not trying to be negative but if surging sparks sold out before release and Prismatic sold out day 1. This IS going to be a nightmare at first, middle, and last.

I initially was excited about the extra hype, it's fun to have more people talking about the hobby and all that. But surging sparks was a big turning point where it seems to have turned into crazy town and the balance is out of wack. Sets going up in price over time is very healthy but there's no reason anything should be over MSRP on release. Luckily for all of us this set releasing overtime will mostly likely mean there will be a time where everyone is focused on the next shiny thing so I'm just going to sit back and wait for that. I do really love the umbreon unfortunately so I'll have to figure out how to time that purchase lol.

Depending on where you live, if you walk into your gamestop and pre order it at the store, you're able to get prismatic Evolutions not sure how long it will last

After a 20 year hiatus, Surging Sparks was my re-entry into Pokemon card collecting. It's crazy how much has changed and how big the Pokemon community has become over time. That's why I'm glad I found out about your channel over 2 weeks ago as you have been a huge help to me in many ways as far as collecting Pokemon cards today.

This is a great set but I haven't ordered any products as the prices are absolutely insane. As Danny keeps pointing out, patience is key and I personally prefer to wait for the partner Pokemon and Team Rocket set as I can still buy Prismatic Evolution when the dust settles.

Retail stores will be your friend in the long run for this set. There was plenty of 151 at retail stores for a long time. Be patient

The hard part about this hobby is that now that YouTube is involved the channels are buying massive amounts of product leaving less for average consumers

They're producing too many sets a year. They need to cut back by at least 2 sets a year so they can focus on keeping sets in stock.

Apparently Japanese 151 has already restocked early and the print run was small and possibly the last print so now is possibly the lowest it will get so stock up now
