Apparently one of the directors for Pokemon once said in an interview that they were hesitant to design another eeveelution because of the sheer amount of existing fanart for the remaining types! The fandom's enthusiasm might've ensured we won't be getting another one due to copyright concerns💀

i love this set so so much because of its focus on the eeveeolutions, i particularly love sylveon, and i find it so unfortunate that scalpers are so obsessed with this set! even in my country, where pokemon isnt that popular, you cant find packs anywhere. hope the hype calms down sometime soon so i can also have some cards

Being a specialty set, a lot of the cards are actually reprints of competitively viable cards! Thats why you see so many trainer cards, your glass trumpets and earthen vessels, kierans and carmines, as well as pokemon like bloodmoon ursaluna and the ogerpon ex's, and theres only a handful of new unique cards (ironically, none of the new eeveelutions are actually that good at all 😅). So while my collector side is frustrated that i can't find any of this to open myself, my player side is just happy that the market is still being flooded with reprints of these desirable playable cards, cause it's only gonna make it easier to get my hands on for actual play.

masterballs are less rare then sir but the chances of getting umbreon is a like 1/100 when you get one as apposed to 1/30 with sir

It's definitely time for a new eevee. My top pick would be a steel type could called Ferreon (ferrus or iron, Fe on the periodic table) but just picture like the body for shape of closer to an umbreaon but with armour plating all over it's body to be entirely covered, and have armoured metal claws.
I also kinda just want a normal eeveelution, so it doesn't have to remain a kit it's whole life, like just like a full sized adult eevee kinda, maybe lose a bit of the rounded head for a bit more of a sleek shape to make it look less like a baby.
There's still several types eevees don't have, and why not just do it? A few new eevees are something everyone wants, it won't hurt a "balanced" team considering there are already more than 6 eeevees, you can't have them all on a single team and you gotta pick to exclude a few.

Funny enough, I ended up getting the giratina from Crown Zenith out of a 2 pack tin. Sometimes the best hits are in the cheapest product

Just lucked out and found prismatic binders at Walmart! I have been pretty lucky so far, I have found it at Walmart, target, and a local video game store where it was 1 per person and only 5 dollars over msrp but he only had 1 box of mini tins so I was more than happy with that. I do have to go at random early morning hours but I work over night so I’m able to. Not worth paying over msrp for these packs
I have opened…70 packs give or take a few… and masterball Eevee, pokeball sylveon, and a regular umbreon ex were my “hits” I pulled like all of the full art trainers but they all kinda look alike and none are characters I care about
