What is DKIM? DomainKeys Identified Mail is an email authentication protocol that helps you protect your email information by preventing content alterations during mail transfer. It does so through a unique public-private key pair and by appending digital signatures to the message body. PowerDMARC helps you set up DKIM correctly to maximize benefits.

DKIM signatures are broken with common mailing list setups. it's one of the main reasons you can't blindly set p=reject in DMARC until you've audited how your users are using email and make sure you know who is sending outbound mail on your domain's behalf
