I'm honestly surprised that the first guy was able to walk out of there quite easily, considering he had to carry the weight of his massive balls with him.

the first guy was awesome, tough negotiator with Peter and best of all completely ignored Jenny

That first dude was a great negotiator, he actually came up with a compromise instead of just digging his feet in or giving up.

First guy was absolutely an investible character. He stood before business giants and negotiated with them on equal footing. You don’t come across people like that very often

The first one was literally nail biting. He was extremely professional with Peter and much respect for both men

Richard Farleigh is such a nice mannered man, getting up to shake the hand of his rejector.

Jenny's thinking "Thank f*ck he was more interested in Peter.... I almost had to agree a deal!"

James Caan completely ripped off Sharon (Magnamole). He only offered a loan (and paid her barely any of it) and charged her a fee for support, which crippled her finances. She had a breakdown, broke off the contract, but eventually restarted the business and is doing ok now.

Dragon: I'm out
Me: What? What happened?
Narrator: A dragon just went out.
Me: Ooh. I see.

Richard didn't get the credit he deserved as a Dragon, he's incredibly astute. He stood up to a couple of the Dragons on one episode for which they didn't like. I feel he was clearly pushed from the show.

Miss having Farley on the show, perhaps not the richest Dragon in the Den but definitely a very bright mind with great charisma.

The first dude smashed it he got 90k investment along with a 200k order like he completely held peter to that comment he made woow FairPlay to him

That first guys negotiation was very smart. He basically made Peter commit to securing the contract that would increase the companies value such that Peter would drop his percent down to 25. Basically Peter had to do the work to be ‘rewarded’ by dropping his own percentage down.

James & Duncan going to the back of the room was classic!

I really like that Richard Farleigh shook hands with the guy who turned him down. He's such a class act, can't imagine any of the other Dragons doing that. I don't think the programme been the same since he left.

Sharon ended up suing James Caan for defamation because he lied about the money, offered no expert help, and made her reduce her salary from £50k to £12k. She managed to end her contract with them but spent 3 weeks in hospital for a nervous breakdown. I remember reading about it not long ago 😟
