I remember one Flipp show which I think was at the Quest around the release of their hyped up album, and Kilo took a bunch of joints out of his pocket and threw them into the crowd, then about 30 seconds later a man was tackled by security for catching them. I played with Bryn's other band, he was really nice.

I want to say I saw Flipp open for Everclear back in '01 or sometime there abouts. We came into the venue, and they were playing "Half A Brain". The whole glam punk look blew my mind, as nobody was doing that at the time. I loved them right away, but being a broke teenager, I'd spent all my money on the ticket to the show and couldn't afford the cd. So glad to find this and learn that they're actually out there playing. Killer band!

I so love this. Finally saw Flipp play for the first time last week at a Benefit. Haven't seen Brynn and Greg (Cherry) play since the Obsession days. Something like 30 yrs ago.

Saw this live last night (sept 17, 2022) in Rochester opening for Hairball. This song was excellent live - really tight with the stops and starts.

I'm pretty sure I saw Flipp perform this song live for the very first time...at Palmer's in Cedar-Riverside, maybe 1994. A few months later I saw them play it on a flat bed truck parked in front of the Minneapolis Post Office on Tax Day...damn cold April 15th! Drummer threw his drum sticks...I have one...somewhere! Go Flipp!

They were the Cats Meow before they sold out to the man with their record deal.
Have not seen them play live since the Cederfest daze.
Viewed the videos put out over the years, the look and the sound was not the same, formulaic.
They used to have a raw, fun, home spun feel from the (insane) heart.
The corporate polish covered all that up.
This is a good video which hearkens to the good o'l days I miss.
