Bruh my dad "blessed me" with middle eastern looking cheekbones and my mom's mom with an asian flat nose.
Both features can look great but not when they are put together 😂. At least I look exotic, but not in a good way.

I have a totally different nose, facial shape, lips, eye type, skin type, from both parents, although I do resemble my maternal grandfather somewhat, and in personality as well. My mother for instance has a long face and sunken cheeks with Hazel small eyes, and I have a round/oval face, large dark eyes, fuller lips, and a shorter nose, she has olive skin and I have pale.

I completely disagree with the "African nose" comment you made. Africa is HUGE. There are all types of nose shapes in Africa and countless people don't have a flat and wide nose.

Assuming these genetics can develop properly throughout people's lifetimes which is difficult with most modern lifestyles. For example not chewing enough to exercise and properly develop the chin and jaws.

The maxilas shape is genetic but its position is heavily influenced by breathing technique and tongue posture during developement. If your maxila has dropped it will bend down the nose, weaken the cheek bones and lengthen the face.
