Regardless of what happened off the pitch there is no denying that Pep raised the level of the English game and set a new benchmark that will be hard to top. City have played some incredible football over the last 5/6 years and as An Arsenal fan it’s been a joy to watch . Pep and the players can’t be held responsible for the dodgy dealings of the board and regardless of the outcome they should be proud of their achievements and the level at which they have performed at consistently.

Asking people what they think about it and they reiterate to something Pep already said is lovely

the media is too quick to give up on managers

My guess is if they’re guilty, they’ll drag it out. If there innocent, the process will be as fast as it can be

I think what is happening is that pep is obsessed with not loosing to his formal assistant and that is making him demand more from his players than usual.

I think that players started to suspect, perhaps through leaked info, that somethings is brewing and that the club will not walk away this time from the charges by just paying off fines. Players' future and careers will be impacted as well. Therefore, the atmosphere has changed within the club. Perhaps, bad rumors are too intense. Probably, , some information surfaced on during the World Cup last year. Did not the troubles with inconsistent performance start at around that time?. Everything was working fine just before that. Everybody was discussion how even more intimidating MC are with Haaland? Take a look at the derby performance again (back in Oct 2022). It has been another epic game. The squad was flying on all the engines and not even a hint of a problem. Concelo was getting substituted back then as well, but still was happy and energetic. It is all about the charges from EPL. The first man who started to scratch his head of what is ahead of him was Guardiola himself. Obviously, players can smell the change right away. Why would Rodrigo's performance get so awful, or slow KDB, or uninterested Gundogan? All the three are just shadows of their best. Why Ruben Diaz is not playing, let alone Laporte?

I think the main problem at City is Pep and his huge ego and his need for micro-management.
I think Pep has such a huge ego and need for being seen as this amazing football genius that he often makes "masterplans" that in his mind will work perfectly and make everyone see him as this amazing football genius, but often his "masterplans" don't make any sense at all when tested in reality on the pitch and way to often doesn't he change them or he change them to late.
Even if a formation and tactic work great in one game, he very often see the need to totally change it for the next game instead of continuing with what has worked very well and also at times extremely well.
It makes little to no sense and it must be very frustrating to his players that he does so.
He has done it extremely much this season in my opinion.
There have been games where all have played well to very well and they have created many chances for Haaland, Alvarez and others, but the next game, everything is changed and they hardly create any chances at all, and still Pep doesn't go back to the formula that worked very well and he continues to tinker, tinker and tinker.

The real question is how long is this appeals process is going to take, meaning will this affect this season in terms of points deductions or will they be relegated for the start of next season. Or will this drag on for a number of years only for them to buy their way out of it.

How can one say Haaland is being underutilised when he's scored 31 goals in 28 matches? Really?

No team is perfect, every good team goes through this phase, I think with all this backlash they next few games, they squad will try to make a statement win.

Pep the player was accused of doping, Pep the manager could potentially be working for a club allegedly accused of financial doping, life is a circle

Pep can't fix the problems with the poor performance of the City team because he is the architect of nearly all the problems.

The last 4 years of intensity, overload of fixtures, have caught up for both City & LFC.
