Dr. Gururaj P begins his talk by addressing some famous personalities who had a genuine passion and were driven to their profession. With a passion for technology and a professional cybersecurity expert, Dr. Gururaj P has a mission to promote creative computing, cybersecurity awareness, and sustainable IoT labs for Indian educators and students.
His motive is to collaborate with leading tech companies and communities to help educate one child from a government school to transform and empower their lives. He ends his talk by quoting Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam:
"Dream is not what you see while sleeping, it is something that does not let you sleep". This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Dr. Gururaj P, with 15+ years in IT, training, and academia, is the Founder Chairman of the Academy for Creative Computing (ACC) and currently a Lead Cybersecurity Engineer in Bangalore. He holds certifications including Certified Cybersecurity Professional and MCP and is an advisory member for various institutions. Affiliations include (ISC)², ISACA, CSA, and IAAH (Karnataka Chapter Secretary). With master's degrees in Computer Science, Physics, Education, and a Ph.D. in student leadership, he leads CSR and educational tech training programs.
