In order to get the merchant to unlock this spell for purchase, you will need 3 colorless demon's souls (1 must come from a primeval demon).

Yes, Primordial Demons always drop a Colorless Soul in the Remake.

5 Primeval Demons + ToG/Gold Mask trade + 1 soul in 1-1 PW/PB + 2 from Mephistopheles = 10 Colorless Demon's Souls per run from my memory... not 100% sure atm

I have 5 colourless Demon Souls and the recovery Miracle isn't showing with Saint Urbain? (3 from the world tendency 1.1 gates of Boletaria on the beam after the executioner, 1 for the gold mask and 1 for the talisman) Do I need at least 1 from a Primeval demon? OR has may game glitched out???
