Got my westmark in February and went out about 6 times on ice/artificial snow. Wish I could get it out on some fresh snow next year!

@Board Archive
Really awesome review as always TJ!
Just a constructive suggestion, if you don't mind, and that is, if you could elaborate more on the boards carving capabilities in each review.

Coming from a short track ice speed skating background (we touch the ice through the turns), the 1st thing I ask myself everytime I look at any snowboard is; can I take this ride to full tilt in turns (and in any type of snow/terrain)? To the stomach or backside level, or just elbows, or will I merely be able to make just knuckle draging turns?

I ask this not just in terms of toe or heel drag, but more so in terms of the rocker/camber profile. Because in my experience, boards that have lifted/rockered contact points at the widest points of the nose (i.e the Signal Omni and the Spring Break Slush Slasher (and probably Jones I reckon)) these boards (kinda have 2 effective edge lengths and) will derail your carve/turn once there is enough edge angle/tilt, causing the nose only to come in contact with the snow much later through the turn. Then, you suddenly get thrown into a hyper sharp turn (I accidently ended up going over edge into a gondol gully once because or this), or the nose will dive and dig down into the ground of soft pack and pow. So dangerous!

It is so annoying when all you wanna do is just semi-eurocarve. However, borads with the rocker between the feet only, such as the westmark rocker or element rocker (I have a 150 and 140) or the Proto-synthesis (144), I can elbow drag fine/well and still tackle the pow chunder too.

Boards such as this one reviewed, or others that are now incorporating a "transition area" ((cough), e.g., Neversummer, Rome, etc...) while good for freestyle forgiveness, I have to wonder and be very weary of for the high tilt turns.

You did mention 5/10 (disappointing) for carving and the uprise fenders, which "kinda" answers my question, but I would really like it if you could elaborated more in regards to the higher tilt, aggressive edge angle performance capabilities in your reviews.
Thank you as always, and keep up the fantastic reviews!

Tj can you comment on boot size when you talk about your height and weight. I think it would be beneficial because people dont know waist width to boot size pairing usually

@BoardArchive you seem to be riding the Union Ultra on everything lately. How do you compare this binding to the Stratas?

The base graphic looks so similar to Nitro Drop 2023
