[Greetings]
Hey, Merry Christmas to all. This review is one of many that are to come before the end of the year. Season 2 of my laundry review will end on the 30th so, I have a lot of videos coming. Get ready Get ready. Again I want to thank all of you for your love and constructive criticism in the comments. I show no loyalty to any brand because at the end of the day, I am not payed for a single review. If I did, it would be over lol but seriously thank you and I hope you have a great holiday.

[Scripture for the post]
Luke 2:1-14 KJV
1 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be taxed.

2 (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)

3 And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.

4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)

5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.

6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.

7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.

9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.

10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

One of your best videos yet. I really like how you did this review. We’re able to see the before, during, & after so yeah it is really helpful.

Great Review as always. You’re really putting these detergents to the test. I know some people don’t like it but you should do a test where you actually treat the snail as if you were washing your own load of laundry because I know you would pretreat the stains.

Wow, this review is shocking. I’ve been using these for years and haven’t had a problem. I know everybody’s laundry is different but still. Pretreatment makes a huge difference at the end of the day no matter what detergent you use.

Now I wanna see a video of someone tie-dying a shirt with condiments and juice.

Ok, great, the only thing I wanted to see was a measurement of the wash temperature. Would you be able to find an IR thermometer? so we know what temperature it washed at. It seems with your machine you can pause the wash and open the lid so you should get an accurate reading pointing it at the clothes or water. To get that mustard and sriracha out I think you will need to use a powder It's like a mud residue stain. I'm surprised the grape juice didn't wash out as I didn't have any trouble getting grape juice stains out in my washer.

On a separate note, a washer with an agitator is going to have better wash action than one with an impeller. If you want to see how that works. You will need to stick a magnet somewhere in front of where the lid closes which will fool the machine into thinking the lid is down. Then you can do the wash with the lid up. Put some white clothes in there with some small coloured items. Record the wash then speed it up during playback and you will be able to see the wash action.

There is no difference in the results which leads me to think the wash temperature was not very different. Does your machine have an internal heater or not? If not then there is no difference between cold, cool & warm temperature settings.

When I looked up your machine on GE's site and browsed some of the reviews there I found one by someone called Queenibee

*Low tech washer that does the job just fine*

What qualifies me to write this review: decades of experience washing clothes; experience owning both top and front loading machines; I read and follow instruction manuals.

My take: I had enough of front loading machines with a ton of electronics that break and wanted a simple throw-back machine that has regular knobs, has an agitator, allows me to fill up the machine to the water level I choose AND finagle the temperature I want by switching during filling, has a soak option, and as a bonus I can use it as a cooler if the power goes out. This machine does what I want it to. I'm perfectly happy with it.

What you need to know: there is no internal heater, so whatever your hot water heater setting is, that's how hot the water is going to be if you use the hot setting, and it follows that the warm setting is going to be affected also. THE MANUAL ONLINE IS MUCH MORE DETAILED/HELPFUL THAN WHAT YOU GET WITH THE MACHINE. Google the manual and download it. I found this out by accident because I figured I would go ahead and read the manual before the delivery crew arrived so I'd be ready to use it right away. The manual that came with my machine was a joke compared to what's online. Many of the issues people complained about in reviews were covered in the manual I downloaded from GE. Keep in mind that the online manual covers like seven different versions of the machine so you need to figure out which schematic of the front is yours, and go from there (I circled mine and crossed out the rest). There will be settings in the manual that you may not have. I just crossed them out so I wouldn't get confused.
