Maths can be a bit of a muddle and struggle until the flash of inspiration arrives. Great satisfaction when is does arrive! It helps to define the problem in terms of mathematics, stripped of the associated narrative.

I am a person with no base in maths i don't know what is difference in x+x and x*x other students in my class are saying answers very fast as teacher asking questions, i am degree first year, and i am so depressed due to this depression i can't concentrate on other subjects, it's full online class, i don't have text or any studying materials, i am going to fail.

So glad that Bill Nye said that math sucks, because it really does suck. It's extraordinary, nearly magical, but it's not beautiful nor is it fun.

I have always been bad at maths: when I say "bad" I mean it. I can do some basic numerical calculation, arithmetic. Nothing more.
I have never felt any motivation or interest in the subject, and I don't understand why people should like it. None of the people in this clip has felt the cold horror of maths phobia,  or care.
They will find plenty of people to whom they can communicate their enthusiasm, but why don't they acknowledge that there are people like me and try to understand us?
