Immersive Skyrim Magic Mods for 2023

In this video, I’m showing off a few skyrim mods that boost the immersion of magic in Skyrim. I think that all these immersive magic mods are great additions for your 2023 skyrim modlist.

Great video! I am the author of Unattuned - Immersive Spell Failure. Great demo of the mod. The only thing I would also like to mention is that it is customizable via the MCM (I don't think I noticed you mention that). Failure on a whole and its frequency can be toggled and adjusted for the player and NPCs separately. The added gameplay loop with the two buffs can also be adjusted or disabled if desired.

The conjuration spell failure is even funnier when you realise, lore-wise, conjured items are pulled from the planes of oblivion, implying a whole realm of oblivion out there just FILLED with giant buckets. probably in the shivering isles.

Unattuned is very interesting, I really like the concept with two connected effects, a very well-developed idea. Reminds me of the Fizzle mod or whatever its name is, I haven't tried it and forgot about it. Now I really want to play with this new one, to see how it affects Battles on average.
Upd. I like your videos, your view on modding with a mix of different mods is very interesting. 😯😲😍

I don't really see why you would want to have the possibility of failing a spell and thus making magic even more challenging than it is in vanilla... I guess I could see it being somewhat useful maybe for certain spells that are really OP to fail as a way to balance things out..?

Anyone know why the illuminated spells lightning is bugged. The illuminated hands works for health fire ice & illusion yet lightning doesn't work at all in 1st person?😅
