Gene Rework ⚙️

Gene got a rework that was a huge secret! Only ONE other YouTube has covered this, and I didn't even know it existed until today! Apparently 2 months ago, Gene's star power was reworked to give his super DAMAGE! How did I not know about this until now?

Gene has been more of a rare brawler in recent times. I normally only see him in Brawl Stars Power League, either Bounty maps or Gem Grab. I guess since I barely get pulled, I haven't even noticed this change. It was not in patch notes. It was a secret Gene rework!

It's all true. The Spirit Slap rework did happen 2 months ago. The reason why barely anybody talked about this is cause this change wasn't even in the patch notes at the time

i was playing gene the other day and i thought it was strange how the description of spirit slap was changed. but i didnt really bother since i never use spirit slap. though this definitely seems like a really decent rework

I actually did notice this and Gene became one of my most favorite brawlers to play after! The starpower is incredible now and makes him an actually great brawler now

When I saw you talking about how insane this build is in duels, I kinda doubted it, but decided to try it out anyway.



It’s absolutely crazy. My win rate for the build is over 90%. Today’s map is also incredible for Gene’s vision gear; they try to move to a different part of the bush but Gene catches them either way. (Albeit I am using a Power Level 11 Gene below 500 trophies, so maybe it’s not as crazy, but it’s still super strong). I definitely underestimated this build in solos, given how OP Magic Puffs is in competitive

I think both spen and cryingman made vids on it well imo it's quite a good change and gene very good in solo modes now and anyways duels is far better solo mode love it will ✨
