Soul Shakedown Party . I am 72 now and I was friends of the Grateful Dead and I can say that we all loved him. If you’re familiar with Jerry Garicas guitar playing, Bunny Tayler playing is a whole lot like Jerry’s style. When Jerry played with his with The Jerry Band played many of Bobs songs and other Rastafarian musicians. Like Bob he spread love with his music. Jerry also smoked a whole lot of weed all of his life and I started getting high around 1968 and were it not against the law. Start listening to the Jerry Band. He played the harder they come the harder they fall . I really love your style of reactions. Peace on you my sister.⚡️❤️⚡️🎸⚡️

Bob Marley wrote "Stir It Up" in the sixties but didn't record it or release it until after Johnny Nash took a cover of it to the top twenty in the US in 1973. To the left of Bob Marley in the clip is Peter Tosh and to the right is Bunny Wailer. When you're ready for another smooth love song like this from Bob Marley, check out "Waiting in Vain", but first check out "Three Little Birds", 'No Woman, No Cry", "One Love/People Get Ready", and "Exodus", also check out "Trenchtown Rock" from their 1975 live album. "One good thing about music, when it hits you feel no pain..."

Sweet tune. Love it! I once heard someone who completely misheard the lyrics. Instead of “stir it up” they thought it was “mysterious” and started singing about a mysterious little darling.

I like playing Bob Marley’s music during the warm summertime. Having the door and windows open, and his songs in my speakers.

That is their live performance on the British TV show The Old Grey Whistle Test (where everyone played live) in 1973 with the three original Wailing Wailers, Marley, Peter Tosh and the wailing Bunny Wailer. It's the Barrett brothers on drum n bass and, I think, Earl Lindo on keyboards. I remember seeing this at the time after a friend of mine who already loved the Wailers told me not to miss it. I eventually saw Bob Marley live at the Rainbow on the Exodus tour in London which was recorded and which you can find on YOuTube. Fabulous show with Bob Marley as his peak best I think... Love your reactions Fay ;)
