Make sure the plug on top of the hopper is open when you are spraying. It's gravity fed. If it remains closed the pump will lose pressure and you can ruin the pump.

That sprayer is very handy, I have one that I keep in the van at all times, be surprised how often I use it, and I do commercial painting. It was pricey but has paid for itself multiple times over. Good product

I have seen pros that do apartment rehab and house freshen up before renting or selling and with a little tape and drop clothes you can shoot entire walls without filling up the reservoir. A good tool and you can shoot multiple walls quickly, same clean up as a roller and in my opinion a little less paint.. not the right tool if you are painting a house.. but for small jobs, drywall repairs it's decent, and you can clean it in a bucket, easy.
