I would have had it painted with a brush in the time it took you to tape it out or less.

I wonder how much paint went through the slats onto the house? To me this is a dumb move much better to remove 4 screws then place them on a pair of saw horses or a box then spray dry and reinstall. Probably get the angles better too.

I could brush that door in the time it takes you to tape up then you got to clean up the pump and tape smh and that thing only holds enough paint to spray 1 door
