This is how they do it in India too. The street vendors go around the streets with their carts flipping the peanuts and when people hear that, they run to the street to buy it. It's nice and hot.

I'm from Sri Lanka, and this is how we roast ground nuts! we roast them with the shell in salt just like you do!

This is very common in India... There are hawkers selling it by road side and it's done this way at home too... For a quick winter snack..

I miss Asian salted roasted peanuts 😭 it really hits different. In the Philippines, we fry it with whole cloves of garlic. The umami in every bite is everything.
