I found a way round the desaturated wallpaper thing. I set my wallpaper from photos, or a previous 1 from long pressing on the lockscreen then go to settings, wallpaper, choose the next 1 along, set it, go back to the 1 you really want and set that. Thats it! The wallpaper will retain saturation

My iPhone 15 pro max scrolling is smoother in apps. Safari switching tabs by swiping seems to be smoother and different animation? Swiping control center is smoother, also. Definitely different than last beta 3. Almost like 120hz wasn’t working before. Haven’t found anything else different yet.

I’ve noticed that the emojis have gotten smaller than they were before in this re-release update. In iOS 17 and below it was a little bigger.

There’s also a change to wallpaper now you could add a color to the background of the wall paper photos and it lets you expand the actual image

So. On iPhone 14 Pro Max it's smoother, than the previous iOS18 b3. The battery doesn't drain as fast as on the previous one. On the previous one I actually saw the % counting down when used. 😅
This time it did not start frying my hands after boot up! No heat on the back since, and I updated it an hour before. ☺️

Noticed my signal bars are half what they were pre-update. Don’t know if that means a diminished signal or just aesthetics.

Finally I just went and checked Beta updates. I was so used to having the updates ready.

I really want be able to designate specific apps as games, or activate game mode with a focus mode. That lower latency would be excellent for other apps and processes, not to mention things like Delta do not automatically trigger the Game Mode. Lower latency would be stellar for retro gaming.

The only update that made my phone overheat during charging is 17.5.1 and Apple still didn’t release 17.6 so far…. 😢

Need them to fix the battery life on watchOS my watch drops to 10% or below by the time I get home from work before it was at least 50%
It also always swaps to a different face as to when you scroll up with the crown when I have media playing which drains battery even more since it remains in the always on display for the watch I’d rather have it dim like when it would show what media was playing in previous watchOS updates
