I wasn’t going to chance it on my phone. But after trying out the iPad OS 18, I reversed course and installed it on my iPhone 14 Plus after all. I am really surprised and enjoying the new features. Caveats about beta versions still apply but, in my case, it is working flawlessly so far and I am glad I took the plunge.

I had 100% battery health on my 15 pro max on July 1st and it’s dropped down to 97% in the last 3 weeks. I have 257 cycles on my phone

Crowdstrike affected numerous servers at my job. I work in IT and Friday morning was NOT fun. Luckily there was a quick fix to get them back up, then a permanent patch came out later yesterday. Great videos I watch them all. Keep up the good work 👍
I’m on a 15 PM on 18 Beta 3. Battery is much worse since I upgraded. RCS doesn’t seem to be available on Xfinity Mobile 😞

Hopefully next update fixes a few things for me. When using Bluetooth headphones/earbuds the volume will randomly mute while content is still playing.
Another issue is WiFi auto connects BUT doesn’t. Still using cell service even tho settings say I’m connected to WiFi. Gotta turn WiFi on and off to fix it. Same with hotspot

For me in iOS 18 public beta the personal hotspot isn’t in the main settings page and it is hidden within the mobile/cellular settings.

Running the latest Developer Beta on a 14 Pro Max and audio from games is randomly disappearing and won’t return until you close down the app and reopen. Seems to happen when you swipe to another app, eg; a message coming in and you swipe back.

Aaron you only talked about the newly added system fonts in the ios 18 once. Does Apple know that the system fonts don't work or how to use them?

I’m using 17.5.1 on my iPhone 12 and before I updated to this update my camera worked just fine but after I updated my camera keeps auto focusing really fast so you can’t get a clear picture at all and video is messed up wish I never updated 😢

Hi Aaron. What would be your thoughts on upgrading from an iPhone 11? I want something with excellent battery life. What would be the best models to choose from, any of the Plus range? Everyone swears by the 13, but coming from an 11 I’m thinking the battery wouldn’t be tremendously better? iPhone 14 I’ve heard mixed reviews, and 15 is very pricy, especially here in Australia. Thank you :)
