Up here in the Yukon and I chose the guardian. With the right site selection you can mitigate some of the issues mentioned and I love the weight/size in the pack!

Looking at the Guardian for late Fall when I can’t pulk my larger hot tent in. I’ve seen the videos that say it can be pitched closer to the ground to eliminate draft. You could also lose a couple of inches in pole height for the same effect right. Also, why not add the two or three inches and create a rod skirt?

I have the Guardian for solo use, but have lately thought about about replacing it with a Cimarron Light. I'm just under 6' 4", and while there is plenty of room for sitting in the Guardian, getting in and out is a bit annoying. On the plus side, it heats up instantly and I can easily fit the entire pulk with gear inside the tent. I originally chose the Guardian, since it was quite different from the larger Redcliff I also have, but maybe the Cimarron would be a better fit for me.

I was lucky enough to get a Cimarron Ultralight (DCF) with a stove jack at 24 oz. Best tent I’ve ever had and light enough for ultralight summer trips! It’s a palace.

With the large U-Turn and stove like at 40oz, I have a 2 man hot tent for 4 lbs! Amazing.

Is the liner available with the light weight Cimarron and if so is it detachable?

Why is this sill nylon tent over 800 USD with the mesh? A pyramid tent is literally the simplest tent design. There’s absolutely no reason this thing should retail for that much money.
how could this possibly compete with something like the hyper light pyramid tent? This pricing is completely out to lunch.
