Tent comparison. Big Agnes Tiger Wall and ZPacks Duplex.

We're preparing for a 4-month, 2700 mile circuit of the Pacific Northwest by foot and canoe. We've used both of these tents for previous long-distance backpacking trips. In this #short we quickly compare the two.

When I was little a ‘cowboy camp out’ meant my family would gather everyone’s blankets together and spread them out on the ground and we sleep around our fireplace. Usually paired with some hotdogs and canned beans. It was fun during the winter snowstorms.

In the Pacific Northwest the waterproofness of the tent is going to be the most important consideration. You won't be "cowboy" camping.

i to cowboy camp i live in north carline so its warm or a little chilly year round so i can camp like this as long as its not raining its the best way to sleep
