in 2003 ppls life was so slow they spend 8 hours or more on grinding with friends, clans. Its was fun, but now we all need money for life and ours families. Im happy i was playing this game for beggining and i know that feeling if u have full buff on retail grind ^^ you was like FLASH xD

Gaming developers should have seminars, featuring NCsoft, on how not to screw up a brilliant game with strong, loyal and dedicated community. We stuck with the game despite them screwing up time after time and hoped that the new Classic would be different and would remind us of the old Prelude-C6 days. Nah, they managed to screw that up too.

This game is definitely underrated.
For me this is not just a game but I really fell in love with this game since I was a kid like around 12 yrs old, and look I am still a fan of this even though I am 24. I did not quit or what, it suddenly just became gone and not been talked about. Gosh I remember playing this game with my family including my mom. I wish I could turn back that time where all of our family members are uniting for castle siege :(

My parents let me play this game with them when I was 5. Had no clue what I was doing and freaked out when I got PK'd, but this game is so nostalgic for me and will always be my first MMO.

What we loved about this game was the people we had fun with while playing, it was such a grind that we really needed each other to advance faster and break the boredom. Those days are gone, we're older and have less time to play, I went back when L2 classic came out and after a month I was clanned and had a good group of friends again, it was almost like the old days. Then NC soft started tinkering with it by selling special items, making the gap between rich and poor even greater, chasing ppl off the server, then they made macro botting legal ruining parties. It mutated to something that just wasn't L2 classic anymore and the majority quit. It will remind you of the old times and make you miss them more but will never come close to duplicating them. During the lock down I pop on now and then when bored, hoping some of my old clannies do the same but no luck yet so after an hour or two I logout. The peak of MMO's is long gone, we have busier lives and get bored easier.

To this day I still love listening to the old Lineage II OST. It still gives me big goosebumps and almost a teardrop of all the great memories I had playing this game for roughly 7 years on and off. Gave it a shot when Goddess of Destruction launched but couldn't enjoy it as I used to before.

Now after watching this I can and can't recognize the game. Core features look the same but many features seem to be removed or made less grindy/casual (except the experience grind). The added L2Store isn't going to help get me back into this either. Probably would try out L2Classic instead if I ever feel like playing again.

Played from C1 to about C5 on Erica server. OG! First pc game i fell in love with

So nostalgic, i played it until Kamael with my cousins and their dad and we used to do it all.
Uncle made a dwarf who became one of the top Craftsmen on the server and we just used to do it all, farm, grind, raid.
The ratio of the server was i think 5x, so the progression was nice but not too fast, you could still enjoy the lvling even around Dion which was one of my favorite towns(mainly bcs the soundtrack)
and how we spent a sh*tton of time in dungeons for Ancient Adena ^^

The most fun we had, when we made our own support chars, warcryer, shilien and elven elder and prophet, and we just went on raids in 3-5 ppl :D... I even upgraded my PC so i could run 4-6 windows.
The macros we're kinda just starting to kickoff, so we used them just on our support chars for the buffs, while we were farming or raiding.

When our server died we wandered across some pvp servers just for them lulz, 4 assasins with a healer and killing everyone ^^ ... good times ... but when the P2W was introduced, we quit.

Still miss the old game tho, but i'm dissapointed that the NCsoft just took the easy route and just kept riding the lineage 2 till today...
Still remember the promisses of Lineage3 with updated graphics and new stuff...
Dissapointed.

This game is history for a lot of People. I played years and years. I stoped about 5 years. I came back and this is something else. But not lineage. Anyways im gonna keep logging and having some fun Just for The nostalgia.

Sowa here, remember me from 2017? Remember how it was difficult to get to level 99? I've reached it after month of play with my friends. Now level 99 is nothing, whole game is macro and i've almost cried when I've seen the state of the game. No more place to return :(

It's all clear for me now. The last years updates pushed into a paid game and I've never paid for no game in my life. I heard some good old servers are coming back with classic version of the game. Good farming, good action, good talk, memorable moments. I would come back to that instead of this glittering futuristic...version. Your video definitely helped me into a decision. Thanks pal.
