Back to the palace! Odysseus, having taken the form of a beggar again, left with Eugene for the palace. At my entrance to the palace, a big surprise awaits him, his dog Argos was sitting there. His dog was old because he was waiting for his boss Odysseus, for 20 years to return to the palace! When he saw him, he understood him immediately, but he was very old and very tired, so he shook his tail a little and died. He died very happy and happy because finally after 20 years he waited his boss returned. Odysseus wanted to hide his turmoil so as not to betray that it was him, so after a while he and Eumeos entered the palace. Then Eumeos led him to the room where suitors were gathered, to beg. My attitude towards him was very offensive and provoked the anger and rage of the queen. Penelope of course could not recognize that this beggar was Odysseus' husband, but listening to his stories, she wanted to know about the fate of her missing husband. Odysseus children through the mediation of Eumeos arranged to meet Penelope in a room at night and tell her more stories from the Trojan War and her husband. The suitors continued to make fun of the beggar who had arrived at the palace and to make things even funnier I made him fight with another beggar, Iro. But a very big surprise awaited them, because in the end the winner was our mythical Vassilis Odysseus who, as we said, was disguised as a beggar. Then, when the suitors left, the great king Odysseus and his son Telemachus hid all the weapons of the palace in a distant warehouse in the backyard. Then he took Penelope and they went to a room in the palace where she was told many stories from the Trojan War in which her lost companion was the protagonist. He also told the queen that Odysseus had promised him that one day he would return, and she would have to wait patiently for him! Penelope then, very happy with what she had heard, ordered her old maid, Eurykleia, to wash her feet. Evryklia, as he washed his feet in a clay basin, realized that he was Odysseus' boss! Evrykleia was full of surprise and joy! He discovered that this was Odysseus from a wound that the beggar had on his knee exactly the same as that Odysseus had from a wild boar, in the same place. Odysseus realized that Euryclea had recognized him but told her not to betray him so as not to spoil his plans. Evrykleia obeyed and kept her turmoil and her joy that finally after 20 years she saw in front of her her master returning.
