THE WORLD IS A LESSER PLACE WITH RONNIE GONE. A BEAUTIFUL LADY WITH A BEAUTIFUL VOICE. THEIR MUSIC HAS BEEN A PART OF MY LIFE FOR 50 YEARS. I THANK HER FOR SHARING HER TALENTS WITH US. RONNIE AND HER SISTER ESTELLE FACED ADVERSITY IN THEIR LIVES BUT RONNIE OVERCAME AND CARRIED ON. I HOPE SHE KNOWS THAT SHE WILL BE MISSED BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN. REST IN PEACE VERONICA 💔

I really loved Her songs, especially the one with Eddie Money. It would always play at road side fair and skating rinks.
Anyone else think Cardi B favors Mrs. Ronnie Spector?

Not in video. The song here is Be My Baby. The late Glen Campell played guitar in the studio.

Brian Wilson heard it. He and the late Roger Christian wrote Don't Worry Baby so Ronnie could record it. But the recording did not happen: it went to The Beach Boys.

In CBS, Ronnie performed the song on the Ed Sullivan Show in the theater later named after the presenter. Years later, she and Eddie Money performed Take Me Home Tonight. It had Ronnie refer to Be My Baby. This was a return to the theater, which was more than 20 years since she performed there on the CBS show Late Show with David Letterman.

RIP Ronnie Spector, Eddie Money, Glen Campbell, Roger Christian (d 1991) and Bill Graham (manager of Eddie Money, d. months later in 1991).

Try not to smile/smirk when you're reporting someone's death. I know it was probably unconscious, but please be mindful.
